Sharps & The British Heart Foundation
Save lives and clear the clutter this spring, with Sharps and The British Heart Foundation.
Sharps enters their third year of continued partnership with the British Heart Foundation, raising over £55,000 to date, supporting vital lifesaving research, whilst helping customers to clear their clutter.
Once of the biggest challenges faced when looking to redecorate and refurnish a room, particularly a bedroom, is figuring out what to do with all of the existing freestanding furniture and other unwanted items that need to be cleared in order to make way for a brand new bedroom.
Wanting to provide a high quality service to customers as soon as the decision to purchase new bedroom furniture had been made, Sharps set up its partnership with BHF. Formed in 2015, the partnership allows customers to make use of BHF’s free and convenient collection service, enabling them to dispose of their old freestanding bedroom furniture, along with other unwanted items such as clothes and shoes.
The partnership between Sharps and BHF has been hugely successful, and has received great support from Sharps customers. Over £55,000 has been raised to date, which could support a BHF Professor’s department for a month providing salaries for vital staff, laboratory materials and equipment. Whilst Sharps customers have peace of mind that their unwanted items are going to a good cause, whilst taking advantage of a service that is available to them as soon as they order their brand new Sharps bedroom.
