What makes Sharps wardrobes different?
Sharps help you to make the most use out of any space. We don’t use carcass frames in our wardrobes and all our furniture is designed and built to fit your individual room.
What is the process?
The first stage of the process is to book a home design visit, free of charge and with no obligation. One of our expert Design Consultants will visit your home, at a time convenient to you and will work with you to plan your dream room. Our Design Consultant will bring a range of samples for you to see, showcasing our collection of designs, colours, finishes and materials. They will also provide a detailed quote and explain the finance options that are available. For more information on all the steps in the Sharps process, please visit The Sharps Experience.
Cost & Finance:
How much does a wardrobe cost?
Every Sharps bedroom and home office is unique and made to your individual requirements, therefore we cannot give prices on our website. Our prices for a fully fitted bedroom start at around £2,000 and around £1,500 for a fully fitted home office, but will vary depending on the range and interiors chosen, in addition to the amount of furniture that you have. You can book a free design visit to see how much your bedroom or home office would cost with no obligation to buy.
We also offer a price promise, if you find the same style of bedroom or home office, made individually to fit your room, to the same exacting standards, from the same quality materials, with the same fantastic design-to-installation service that Sharps offer, at a better price than ours – we’ll match it.
Do you offer finance?
Yes, our individual finance plan allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over a number of months and can be arranged in the convenience of your own home – simply ask your Design Consultant for details during your free home design visit. If you have a certain budget that you want to work towards, we will try and create a payment plan to suit your needs.
Sharps Bedrooms Limited is a credit broker, not a lender. We introduce customers wishing to enter into an individual finance plan to Shawbrook Bank Limited (who we work with exclusively). We will receive a commission where a customer we introduce enters into an individual finance plan with Shawbrook Bank Limited. For further information please contact us. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (reference number 645426)
When are payments due?
Once you have decided on the design of your dream wardrobe, we will require a 25% deposit to proceed. On or before delivery we kindly ask for a further 65% to be paid, we have a number of ways in which you can do this, by cheque on the day or in advance by card by calling us on 01902 483000. Finally, with your installation complete your Installer will show you around your beautiful new bespoke furniture to check and sign that you're completely happy. Once you've admired all the details, your Installer will collect the final payment, which can be made by cheque to your Installer or by card by calling our Sharps office on 01902 483000 on the day on installation.
How can I make a payment?
We offer a variety of payment options to suit your needs. You can pay by cheque, debit card, credit card, bank transfer or apply for an individual finance plan.
Home Design Visit:
I would like to confirm/cancel/re-arrange my appointment
To confirm, cancel or amend your design visit please call 0800 789 789 and one of our Advisors can alter your booking straight away. Unfortunately we cannot take any design visit cancellations via email as our Design Consultants need as much notice as possible to plan their appointments.
I have not received my quotation
If one of our Design Consultants has been out to visit you but was unable to leave a quotation at a time, please contact them directly. Alternatively, you can contact the Sales Office phone number on your paperwork or call 0800 789 789.
Do you use Computer Aided Design (CAD) to design wardrobes?
At your initial home design visit, our Design Consultants will create a hand-drawn illustration of your wardrobes, to show how your dream room will look. Our wardrobes are completely bespoke to you and we don’t build them using carcass modules, therefore using CAD during the design process would take a considerable amount of time, which is not suitable for some of our customers.
However, our Surveyors do have CAD software which is specially created for Sharps. During your Technical Survey, one of our Surveyors will visit your home to check all details and measurements are exact, and create a bespoke CAD drawing of your room.
Do you do doors only?
We only design and install our wardrobe doors which hang on our unique frame system. We also couldn’t offer our 12 year guarantee if our doors were installed on another companies carcass.
Do you fit bedrooms in Northern Ireland?
We are not currently able to offer our services in Northern Ireland.
I would like to confirm/cancel/re-arrange my appointment
To confirm, cancel or amend your technical survey please call 01902 483 090 and one of our advisors can alter your booking straight away. Our call centre is open Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm
Why do I need a technical survey?
Once you’ve placed your order, one of our Surveyors will visit your home to confirm that all of the details and measurements are exact. They’ll create a CAD drawing of your room, so you can see exactly how it’s going to look. This CAD drawing will then be sent across to our factory, for your order to begin the manufacturing process.
Where are your wardrobes manufactured?
Your order will be tailor-made at our state-of-the art facility in the West Midlands. All of the raw materials that make up your wardrobes are cut to precisely fit your room, with headboards or stools being made-to-order by our skilled upholsterers. Everything is quality checked from start to finish.
I would like to confirm/re-arrange my delivery time slot
To confirm or amend your delivery timeslot please call 0800 789 789 and one of our advisors can alter your booking straight away.
What will I need to do in preparation for the delivery?
As you know, Sharps don’t sell ‘flat pack’ furniture, every piece is made bespoke to your room. Therefore, your delivery will consist of several different pieces, all of which our delivery team will carefully place into the room and area where the furniture will be installed. We ask you to clear the area where your wardrobe will be built and also roll back the carpet so that the wardrobe can be built onto the floor boards.
Do I need to remove any plug sockets?
We advise that you arrange your own electrician to move any sockets that are located where the furniture is to be installed, assuming that you require access to these after installation.
Do I need to remove my skirting board?
No, our expert Installers will work around your room; they can scribe your Sharps wardrobe around skirting boards, dado rails and coving. It’s all part of The Sharps Experience.
Should I decorate before my wardrobe is installed?
If your beautiful new Sharps furniture has inspired you to give your whole room a makeover, that’s great! We generally advise that you wait to decorate your room until after your furniture has been installed. If you just can’t wait, a good place to start would be the walls on which we are fitting the furniture. Due to our unique market leading construction method that maximises every inch of space, our wardrobes are fitted without backs and sides as standard. Therefore these walls will be on show when the doors are open.
How long will it take?
Most standard bedroom installations will take our Installers around two days to complete but this will depend on the amount of furniture that has been purchased.
Guarantee & After Care:
Do Sharps offer a guarantee?
We’re so confident that your new Sharps bedroom or home office is manufactured to the very highest standard, that we guarantee all our products for a full 12 years. And, on top of that, we also guarantee our workmanship for 12 years. Which means, if any defects arise within 12 years of installation that’s found to have been caused by faulty workmanship or materials, we’ll put it right.
I have a complaint, what should I do?
We strive to provide the highest level of service to all of our customers. If there are any areas in which you are dissatisfied, please contact our Customer Service department by calling 01902 483000 or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
