Experienced interiors journalist and creator of blog Growing Spaces, Heather Young, lives and breathes all things home. Growing Spaces centres around clever craft and DIY projects, with Heather sharing all of her top tips for decorating and styling your own home. We recently met with Heather at our flagship showroom on Baker Street in London, with an aim to completely restyle the Henley bedroom window set.

The room previously had a coastal theme but Heather worked her makeover magic and updated the styling with a modern relaxed country feel. Taking inspiration from current trends, combined with her own personal flair, Heather opted for a muted colour palette of blush pinks and soft greys to create a chic and understated scheme. These classic hues were weaved through the room in the form of a panel-effect geometric feature wall and luxurious velvet cushions & bed linen. Heather also seamlessly accessorised the set with an eclectic collection of frames, succulents and vintage antique treasures from local junk shops.

Heather's shopping list for the Modern Country look:

  1. Cushions & Frames - Cox & Cox
  2. Geometric Print Wallpaper -
  3. Bed Linen - Soak & Sleep
  4. Henley Grey Fitted Furniture - Sharps Bedrooms
  5. Blankets - Urbanara
  6. Vintage Accessories - Local Antique Shops
