A beautiful bespoke dressing room
Andrew and his partner wanted to transform their room into the ultimate contemporary dressing space. Working with their designer, they were able to create a modern masterpiece that was in keeping with their style, but also ensuring that the space was practical in order to form smart storage solutions.
The final result was better than we imagined, and now Andrew and his partner now have a luxurious dressing room with plenty of space to store their belongings!

“Andrew’s vision for his dressing space was for it to be modern and contemporary. The Manhattan range in Graphite was the perfect solution for Andrew.
As the room was large and spacious, there was a lot of potential for fitted wardrobes to run on either side of the room, with more storage placed centrally in the space. For finishing touches, we added a seat pad on top of the smaller drawers, which added both practical and visual appeal.
The finished look was exactly as imagined, it was the perfect combination of a modern and contemporary finish, but also a practical space that offered Andrew and his partner everything they needed.”

Modern Manhattan
Andrew and his partner wanted a modern and contemporary look for their dressing space so the Manhattan range was the perfect choice for them.
Mirrors
On two wardrobe doors, Andrew chose to have mirrors and it was the perfect addition to the dressing space.
Coordinating Furniture
For the centre of the space, Andrew included drawers to keep his smaller items neatly stored away.
Seat Pad
For finishing touches, Andrew added upholstery on the chest of two drawers.
Q&A Andrew Says:
How did you find Sharps?
We were recommended to use Sharps by some friends of ours who had also had wardrobes fitted. We also live local to the Tunbridge Wells area and knew of the shop location and therefore came down to look at the different styles of wardrobe.
Why did you choose Sharps?
We really liked the way that Katherine, our design consultant, talked us through the various options that we had for the space we were building. We could see clearly how the wardrobes would look and she was really clear about how the installation would work.
Tell us about your design visit
Like how we described above, the design visit was probably the reason we chose Sharps. Katherine was really clear as to how it would work and helped us to design both our new wardrobe space and also the furniture that we were having in our bedroom. She helped us to match it with our existing furniture and gave us great design ideas for the bathroom that we were building alongside the new wardrobes. She certainly gave a great all-around service and was very helpful when we changed the size of our space after the initial design visit. All in all, we felt really well looked after.
How about your fitting experience?
This was great. We had our builders in the room next door fitting our bathroom but the Sharp fitters worked around them really easily. It was a very efficient fit-out with the quality of workmanship clear to see.
How does your finished design reflect your style?
The wardrobes look amazing! They look neat, classy, well-built and to a great standard. We love the way they fit the room so well and create a feature of the space we created!
What do you love most about your Sharps furniture?
It just looks so well built and put together – the different types of wardrobes and shoe cupboards that we could have are great, the way our shelving and “round the corner” hanging space has been designed has really made the best use of space.
Would you recommend Sharps?
100% - we would recommend Sharps and use their services again!
What are you most looking forward to making beautifully organised?
I am most looking forward to having my clothes in my room for the first time in about 15 years! For all of that time, I have had to walk down the hallway to the spare room! Now with all the space that Sharp has designed for us, we can both have our clothes in our bedroom and this has been great. My wife Hayley loves her shoes and handbag cupboards as well – essential apparently and clearly very much needed for how much she is using them!
