Maximising space and creating smart storage solutions in a bay window
After using Sharps in her previous home, Cheryl returned to Sharps to help transform an awkward bay window in her living area.
Cheryl needed an expert eye to determine how she could maximise the space to its full potential, and this is where Sharps were able to help her create a cosy seating area. We also added storage space with cupboards and shelves for smart storage solutions!

“In Cheryl’s living area, she had a deep bay window which left her with a lot of wasted space. The solution to maximising every millimetre of space was to design a window seat with cupboards and shelving to offer Cheryl more storage space.
We finished it with a beautiful seat, designed from our wide collection of fabrics and not only created a cosy corner, but also a practical space to keep her living room decluttered and organised.
Cheryl now has a stunning area where she can sit and relax on her comfortable seat pad, but also keep her belongings out of sight and out of mind, perfectly stored underneath.”

Why did you use Sharps?
We had two wardrobes done in our previous house and were very impressed by the quality of the materials used and the workmanship by Sharps. So, when we moved into our new place recently, we knew exactly who to contact.
How was your design visit?
The design visit was great. The Design Consultant explained to us exactly what we were getting, the design itself and the timing of when to expect things.
What range and handles did you choose?
We chose Sherbourne in White with Polished Chrome Ivy Knobs for the window seat in our living room. It perfectly provides storage solutions as well as complementing the traditional styling of the bay windows.
How was the fitting process?
The fitter did a great job. He was tidy and efficient. He completed the installation of the wardrobes/bookshelves and window seat to a high standard.
