Creating a stylish bar and the perfect entertaining space
Josephine felt like her home was missing something, a beautifully organised bar to house her drinks and display her glassware. She wanted the perfect entertaining space for when her family and friends came to visit and a place for celebrations.
With our contemporary Manhattan range, the end result was stylish and became the room's focal point. Josephine can now neatly stack her bottles and embellish it with her beautiful belongings and ornaments.

“Josephine’s living space had the potential to transform into the perfect place for entertaining her family and friends. Josephine had a clear vision of what she desired and Sharps were able to deliver with our contemporary Manhattan range in Slate Grey.
We decided to incorporate shelving and cupboards for extra storage space and also glass cabinets to display her gorgeous collection of glassware and spirits to create a bar aesthetic.
Finally, the Alana Handles in Brushed Satin Brass were the perfect addition to the Slate Grey finish and helped add some colour to the bar.

Josephine decided to add plenty of shelving so she could decorate it with her book collection and ornaments.

How did you find Sharps?

Why did you choose Sharps?
We had a few companies design and quote and Sharps gave us great designs, options of materials and quotes.
Tell us about your design visit.
We were visited twice – once to create the design and again to go into some finer details.
Were there any awkward spaces in your room?
Yes! Two out of three of the areas were awkward – one had a brick Gothic archway to avoid and the other had a beam across the top of the space.
How about your fitting experience?
It was great, with only a couple of minor hiccups which were swiftly dealt with.
How does your finished design reflect your style?
Absolutely, it was exactly the design we’d pictured in our heads for years before getting something booked.
What do you love most about your Sharps furniture?
I love the storage it gives us but it’s the great stylish looks that get us excited about our furniture. All our friends compliment it.
Would you recommend Sharps?
Yes! We have been telling our friends!
What are you most looking forward to making beautifully organised? E.g. your books, toys, shoes, clothes, dressing area etc.
We have tons of books too so it’s nice to see them on display instead of piled up in corners.
