We originally helped Kristy Green to design a stunning office-playroom for her family, and once she’d experienced the Sharps difference first-hand, she knew she wanted us back to transform her bedroom.
For this space, she wanted something simple and contemporary yet timelessly stylish.
She chose our Nordic Oak finish for a statement Scandi look, and on the inside, plenty of clever touches elevate it to the next level.

How did you find Sharps?
We initially found Sharps after visiting one of their showrooms. At the time we were looking to fit out our playroom/home office, and after such a great experience we decided to use Sharps for a second time for our bedroom wardrobes.
Why did you choose Sharps?
We chose Sharps for a few different reasons. Firstly, we fell in love with the new Nordic Oak finish, which is perfect for the calm, Scandi style of our room. Another reason was because we had such a seamless installation previously, we knew it’d be a similar experience again, and during the install they didn’t disappoint – the whole wardrobe was done in a day!
Tell us about your design visit?
The Design Visit is always the most exciting part. We already knew the finish we wanted, as we had seen a picture of it on Sharps’ Instagram, and so we used the Design Visit to focus on fully customising the interiors, and we loved the process of picking each element to suit what we need.
What was the main issue that you were trying to solve with Sharps fitted furniture?
Our home has nice large bedrooms but very minimal storage. We don’t have the luxury of a spare room or separate dressing room, but we love a nice home aesthetic, so for us, we needed something that’s stylish and complements the room décor, but also functional with plenty of storage.
Were there any awkward spaces in your room?
We didn’t have too many awkward spaces, but our ceilings are relatively high, so we were keen to maximise the storage space higher up so that we could use the full height of the room.
Tell us about your fitting experience?
The fitting part really is impressive. Firstly, it was done in just a day, which we were so pleased with as it might have been a full week had we opted to use another person or company. It was also mess free. Once done, the installer cleaned and hoovered completely, and all the off cuts were bagged up and collected the next day. We had nothing to discard ourselves, and didn’t even need to clean them out before using them, as it was already done for us.
How would you describe your interior style and how does your finished design reflect this?
Our bedroom interior style is best described as warm and calming tones with a simplistic Scandi feel. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the wardrobes actually make the space – at first, we were a little worried they might take over the room, but we were wrong, as they completely warmed it up. They add to the calm feel, making an eye-catching addition to the space, and the bold, black handles help tie in other accessories within the room.
What do you love most about your Sharps furniture?
The 2 main things we love most about our Sharps furniture is style and functionality. We really have got the best of both worlds, getting all of the storage we needed, but in a way that looks great too.
What is your favourite part of your fitted furniture?
Perhaps our favourite part of the fitted furniture is the sensor lighting. It seems like quite a subtle thing, and during the design visit we weren’t too sure on whether or not to add it, but now we’re using it daily, it is SO handy, especially during the winter on these dark mornings and nights.
What are you most looking forward to making beautifully organised?
Our clothes are now very beautifully organised, even down to smaller accessories thanks to the pull out draws with accessory inserts, and pull-out shoe storage, which makes organising shoes so easy.
What furniture interiors did you choose and why?
For the interiors, we intentionally chose the Nordic Oak finish to match the outside. Simplicity in this room is really important to us, so we wanted to keep the whole aesthetic clean and unfussy.
Why would you recommend Sharps?
We’d recommend Sharps in a heartbeat. We’ve now used them on 2 separate occasions, and are already considering another bedroom wardrobe install, which we’ll definitely be using Sharps for. The whole process during the initial design visit, to their variety of colour options and styles makes it a very straightforward process. Importantly, the install is efficient and fast, which to us is important as it minimises the impact on our young family – which can be manic enough as it is! It’s also worth noting that the communication in the build up to the install is excellent.
