Alexandra's Design Expert Says:

“Alexandra’s room didn’t come with any awkward spaces or angles so we were able to create a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe that not only offered plenty of storage but also gave the illusion of extra space in the room with the inclusion of mirrored wardrobes.

This was Alexandra’s multifunctional room that would be used as her dressing space, study, and also guest room but it was vital that we maximised every inch of space to create beautiful bespoke wardrobes.

Sharps were able to create a stunning set of mirrored wardrobes with Graphite frames that offered a contemporary and minimalist look that complemented Alexandra’s style and the rest of the room.”

Q&A Alexandra Says:

How did you come to choose Sharps for your wardrobes?

I found Sharps through someone while searching for fitted wardrobes on Instagram, and shortly after that I saw your advert on tv and decided to look into it.

Why did you decide to get fitted wardrobes in your home?

Because not only do they look amazing, they’re brilliant for storage. They use the full floor-to-ceiling height which gives me so much storage for seasonal clothing.

Were there any awkward spaces that you needed to fit around?

No, our wardrobe runs on a full flat wall.

How was your design appointment?

It was great, the gentleman was very helpful and since I knew exactly what I was looking for it was very straightforward. I especially appreciated the fact that I wasn’t pressured into ordering anything during his visit, and I had time to think and make a calm decision later on.

Why did you choose mirrored sliding doors?

I chose graphite and anthracite frames because I wanted a contemporary minimalist look, and I have black accents throughout the house. The mirrors were chosen to make the space look bigger. It is not a large room and we needed it to be a multifunctional space (dressing room/study/guest room) I felt a more traditional type of wardrobe of that size would be overwhelming in such a space. It worked out perfectly, not only did we have a whole wall of storage, the room practically doubled in space.

What interiors did you choose for your wardrobes?

Since we have a chest of drawers in our bedroom, we wanted mainly hanging space for suits, dresses and coats. So the majority of the wardrobe is hanging rails for different lengths with some shelves and a few drawers in addition.
