Creating a stylish home office for an interior designer
Interior designer, Naveen, wanted to create a space where she could ensure productivity and be inspired by her surroundings whilst working from home.

Why did you choose Sharps?
Initially, I was looking for two freestanding desks for my husband and I as we had both started working from home frequently due to Lockdown restrictions. As I started researching I soon realised I wanted a complete solution with storage and a bookcase. Being an interior designer, I knew exactly how I wanted my office to look and feel so I got in touch with a few companies and made appointments, Sharps was one of the companies I contacted.
What was the main issue that you were trying to solve with Sharps fitted furniture?
I decided bespoke furniture was the way forward as I wanted to maximise the space and I liked the idea that it would be personalised to suit my requirements.
How was your design appointment?
My design appointment with Sharps was very thorough and detailed. I was very specific with my requirements and Sharps worked with me using my design and helped turn my vision into reality. A very hassle-free smooth process. Communication was brilliant throughout the process.
Why did you choose the Manhattan range?
I decided on the Essence Manhattan in graphite as it complimented the cashmere grey wardrobes which are already fitted in the room. I opted for the gold Alana handles as it is a stunning contrast with the Graphite. I wanted to create a stylish office where I could sit and create designs feeling inspired by my surroundings. I achieved just that, it’s a beautiful set-up.

Jack, the fitter was brilliant from start to finish. He completed the job professionally and to a very high standard.
Would you recommend Sharps?
I can happily recommend Sharps to my clients and I’ll most certainly use them in my future projects. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed styling this office space, especially the bookcase. It still gives me the wow factor.
